The amount of time you have spent without a working TT and with bright and harsh loudspeakers suggests that music isn't really that important to you. Any news on sorting any of these issues yet?

Yes I have sorted out someone to do the casework just waiting for a final quote. It is annoying me about the phono situation but this is going to be resolved shortly (and finally). Well... bar the stepups I have on order as part of the group buy.

As I am not using the xbd anymore I had to adjust down the treble and mid 3db. There is no more brightness (and certainly never was any harshness!). Its as smooth and pure as cut glass.

If its on the recording then thats how it plays it. If its soft and slow then it plays it soft and slow.
