Well firstly let me appologise for the length of time its taken me to get back to the forum. Unfortunatly its not been an easy ride and also I have no firm results to this test.

My cdp has been giving me problems for some time now (bloody cheap ebay deals!). It was having trouble finding disks and didn't eject them unless you were on the last track :-(

Anyway I finally got my test disc in and listened to it. an hour later got the cdp to eject it. Put the densen in. after 20mins it found it! Played it. But then couldn't eject it!!! :grrr:

It was a week later that it finally spat the densen cd out. But putting the original disc back in didn't help as I couldn't play it! So I now own one very dead cdp. Its gone to be repaired! ouch!

But in conclusion I can't really comment at the moment if it did anything. So I'm going to copy the cd and when my cdp comes back from being repaired I'll try this experiment again and post results.
