Dell computers

i've installed 100's of dell systems and plenty of hp, compaq and fujitsu. i've had less doa dells than any of the others - worst ones being hp's ith non connected hdd's and missing memory being the major doa causes. if i wanted to get an off the shelf pc i'd not hesitate to get a dell - but you do pay for the convienience.

we bought 100 dell optiplex 270s at work over 2 or 3 years. turned out pretty much every one had faulty capacitors on the motherboard and will eventually die. 30 had needed their boards replacing by the time i left about a month ago. great. at least dell's support is good! so long as you speak to someone in glasgow (i think its glasgow).
