I have been offered a good deal on a denon 3910, but know little about it. I read that the 3930's transport is superb and well engineered, but does anyone have any comments about using the 3910 as a dedicated CD transport?

    I would welcome any feedback

Having just had a terrible experience trying a cyrus transport, i want something solid and reliable, but with good sound quality.

Does that refer to the 7 or the XT?

Anyway, you might want to have a look at the wam (if you haven't already) for opinions on the 3910 - I think it has some followers there.

    BOTH :(

CD7 broke... got a CDXT in a private sale from a guy i know pretty well.. it arrived and it was dead upon arrival. So getting a refund from that and want to move on.

Been offered a 3910 quite cheap, and it might simplify my system a little.
