I have a Trichord diablo phono stage. Can anybody tell me the recommended dip switch settings for a Dynavector 10x 5?

    Specs below, I'm completely confused!

    > *Output Voltage* 2.5mV (at 1KHz, 5cm/sec.)
    > *Compliance* 12 x 10^-6 cm/dyn
    > *Tracking force* 1.8 - 2.2 grams
    > *DC resistance * R=150 ohms
    > *Recommended load
    > impedance* >1K ohms
    > *Weight* 7.5 grams

System is a Rega P9, RB1000 rewired with audio note silver, Dynavector 10x5, AVI master series pre and V2 power, Diablo phono stage and some old Castle Avons to be changed for Shahinian Obelisks when my ex stops bleeding me dry!!!

    Either one of these:

    MM Low Output 2 - 3mV 52dB

    MM High Output 3 - 5mV 48dB

The first one may be a tad loud, though.

For loading try 47k or 1k and let taste decide.

    thank you

The mm high output sounds best with the 1k setting. You are absolutely right though, the 47k sounds fine and it's just a matter of taste.

    Thanks for the advice
