I forgot to post at the time. We went to see her because of all of the hype and comparisons with vocal Gods, or something like that. Clearly music is a subjective thing and there is no right or wrong but we left after five songs and were not impressed. When the band walked on we thought, hey this will be funky! but what is going on with how the stage was 'decorated'? Yes she had a good voice but no better than most. The big problem was that the stage was decorated like a teenagers bedroom, ah yes she is a teenager, and the vocal production and musical production were very very old fashioned. A wasted opportunity is how we summed it up. she needs a good producer unless of course America likes normal, shy, very young girls who sing like their mother probably did when she was her daughters age, in which case fair play to her.
