Difference between Naim cdx and cdx2?

    Pretty damn small overall; the CDX2 uses the newer 'Reference' series casework rather than the 'Olive' case; it also uses a new motherboard layout and BurrBrown PCM1704 dac rather than the PCM1702.

    The overall sound is less in your face, versus being really in your face.

    The gem is the 3. Way better value than the new 555 reference.
