Difference between Pioneer PDS-703 and PDS-705?

    Please can someone tell me the difference between the Pioneer PDS-703, and the PDS-705.
    I plan on using one as a transport only.

    can't be certain.....but having worked on a couple of stable plater decks it could be as simple as a cosmetic change ...the did like to swap numbers to stimulate the idea its a new model.

    or it could be the addition of a digital output which you need to watch out for if your going to use as a transport.

    ....most of the players are relatively similar inside ....but with different opamps or dac chip but the topology is similar.

    I've the schems for the 502 and worked on a couple of 600 series.

    Hi,

    Don't know if it helps at all, but I've got a 703, and it has a digital out. Can't really help with the original question mind...

    Let me know if you want to know anything about the 703.
