Can someone please explain this . . .
Recently got into Buffy (ooh err) and went to order the second series. The prices are: Amazon - £58.99 new, or £49.99 used, and Play have it at £59.99 , HOWEVER, Play also have the region one version for £35.99, which even has extra features on !

How can this be, checked and double checked but they are definately the same series, same no. of discs etc etc, I just don't get the price difference. If you have a look at Amazon for a used one, some clever chappy is even selling a region one disc for £50.00, when brand new delivered they are £35

    Any comments . . . . .

ian, only thing I could think of is that the R1 boxset has been out a few months were as the R2 boxset is pretty much new.

If you've got multi-zone the choice is easy.
(You may have to pay tax on it though !)

    :)

Yes the unfortunate thing with play now is that you will almost certainly get hit for tax when you order region 1 stuff from them :(

For example I ordered the Babylon 5 season 3 region 1 (not out here till november!) in august and got stung a whopping £13.00 tax on top.
