    Well I guess the fact its made in St Petersberg could allow them to sell it cheaper, but the KGB roots, the excellent, build quality, the unique lense and its utterly magical results make it well worth the money in my book. There's a global "lomographic" sub-culture spinning off their cameras.

    Yeah I guess so. I spent a while looking through the lomo site when I first got my supersampler. Its well worth exploring, the lomo sub culture is a strange world.
    That horizon panoramic looks alright for the money!

    Two colleagues independently chose Canon Ixus cameras in the last month or so. Their size makes them an easy to carry and use choice.

    I have an early (c2000) Kodak DCxxxx which now seems huge. Prefer my Minolta SLR and cautiously eyeing the Dynax 7D. Tempting but oh-so expensive.
