Hi, i have a Musical Fidelity cd player feeding a Lite Audio DAC AH .its a NOS dac. I have upgraded the opp amps to burr brown opa627 .I now need a good digital coax to replace my cheapo cambidge audio lead.Im looking to improve the bass focus as i find digital bass a touch overblown compaird to my vinyl set up. Any ideas guys would be most welcome.By the way upgrading the opp amps has given me alot more detail in the treble...thanx...James ps i dont want to spend more than 50 notes .....

Well you'll probably get a few suggestions and I claim no great expertise on these things but I've tried a few and I find a metre and a half of Chris Venhaus' Pulsar cable ( http://vhaudio.com/wire.html ) and a pair of Eichman bullets works very well indeed, and did what you seem to be after for my system.

    Cheers

Yes I did, as I happenned to have a couple of bullet plugs around.

You can also buy complete cables:

    http://vhaudio.com/interconnects.html

which I think it would just about match your budget, but the diy route is rather more of a bargain IMHO.
