Having been reminded of this place by Rob, when I visited to hear the Quad ESL 63's, I thought I'd try this here.

    Fifty Ways - A

    Fifty Ways - B

    Fifty Ways - C

    Fifty Ways - D

And we have a duet, a touch, an old, and I mean old dvd player and an Arcam CD36, A,B,C or D lets see if anyone can get it 100% right.

Have a listen and just list them in the order you think sound best...

There is no right or wrong here, just an example.

I'll have a good listen tonight.

I'll also reply to your PM over on pfm later.

    Cheers,

I've had a close listen to these.

I can't rank them as they all sound near as dammit the same.

There are perhaps the tinniest differences in balance, of the sort swamped by shifting listening position a few inches.

Same as before, but I've changed the order... still using the PC line-in.
