Anyone out there own a Pink Triangle DaCapo DAC? I bought one second hand spares or repair recently and managed to get it going again. I have to say it sounds fantastic, so much so that I sold my Naim CDS.

Only snag is it lacks the flexibility and ease of use of a decent digital streamer. So to cut a long story short, I designed and built one. It's clock-locked to the DaCapo DAC using a customer made digital optical input card for the DaCapo with an ultra low jitter clock source. I've done a side-by-side comparison with my PT Cardinal transport and the audio is, if anything, marginally better than the ClockLocked Cardinal. Most likely because of the improved clock on the digital input card.

If anyone is interested, I'm planning to start selling these on my newly created website, apexhifi.co.uk (apologies its a bit rudimentary right now - still needs work!)

I'd be delighted if anyone out there wants to test one for me on sale-or-return. As I said, it designed for the PT DaCapo DAC, but can also be clocklocked to the DPA enlightenment and probably other DACs which feature some kind of clocklock circuit.

    Help greatly appreciated!
