I knew the name, knew he'd won the Mercury music prize, and had a rough idea of what to expect.

Having just given it it's first spin though it impressed MOre than expected! :D Which is nice!

Very raw sounding, very urban, and very much of the front line of UK music.

Will spin it a few MOre times (I've got a few other new things to listen to too), but very positive after first listen.

    Anyone else heard this?

I actually bought this the day it came out in the summer. I had heard "i luv u" and liked it and so was feeling lucky.

My copy has been played almost constantly for a period, especially when out and about in the car.

I like the beats and the sarky lyrics.

A deserved if somewhat unlikely winner of the mercury music prize imho

I got this one about a month ago.

I havnt played it that much since getting it tbh wich i supose shows my thoughts on the matter.
But actually i think the album although in places a bit repetive it had a good sound and was that bit differant then the normal garage style stuff you hear.

    altogether a 3.5/5
