My Missus has started buying all this Organic stuff from the supermarket, saome of it fairtrade. Credit where it is due though most of it is at least as good and mostly better than the normal stuff. Organic Fairtrade Banana's being a prime example , they really do taste better, for this reason I now always choose these types of Banana's and especiallly durig critical listening sessions.

This is an electroformed silver hallmarked banana. These look fantastic in a fruit bowl or even used as table decoration.

I'll take one, provided I can have a matched pear (is that a contradiction?).

Forbidden fruit, I fear, as he then wouldn't have one to stand on, which, as our US cousins would say, would be plum loco.

The difference was immediate and amazing. The life had returned. Gone was the sluggish indistinct bass. Compared to the untreated player, the sound was even more focused, the imaging more precise. There still was a smoothness to the top end, yet the sound was alive and vibrant. The legendary powers of the avocado continued to grow.

I obtained similar results with plums, but I had overlooked the fact that the S300 emits so much heat that the experience ended in a jam.

I would imagine that pose would make a large difference, as a portion of your brain would be concentrating on not falling over. Best thing to do is try and shut the brain down from thinking, so your not distracted away from the music. Try logging off the web, drinking a few beers, turning the lights off and get the tunes on. Then order a decent hifi in the morning and repeat :D

Damn.. Now I have to look for 4 similar size and shape fruits to put under my toy to see indeed whether they make any differences. Are you sure we really have to try everything for ourself before we are permitted to pass a comment?

As silver wire and glass shelves give a brighter sound, and wooden shelves give a more natural sound, is it not reasonable to expect a fruitier, juicier sound? If not, how to explain. They weren't plastic avocados by any chance, were they?
