    Hi everyone!

I have just acquired this turntable but I can't keep it. It is in perfect condition and I am just curious as to its value. I have a feeling its one of those things thats either worth something or nothing.

    Any ideas?

Thanks very much for any input!

    James

If its really clean, maybe £30 ... probably more in bits on fleabay. Its not a reflection of the quality of the deck, which is okay, so much as the fact that they are ten a penny.

Ah ok. Not much then! Maybe I should wrap it up and put away in the loft and forget about it for a few years!

I also have a set of Tannoy Oxfords in mint condition and a Tandberg TR-1010. Are these worth anything?

    Thanks

    James

Sorry it means Oooh yes those Tannoys are worth something. You need a Tannoy Dual Concentric expert (and there are a few round here who knows their Tannoys) to tell you how much. I do know that it isn't the most sought after cabinet nor the most sought after driver, but desirable all the same. £300 at least anyways I'd have thought maybe more. Shouldn't think the tandberg would be wirth much though.

There was a recent thread on big tannoys, have a look and ask there.

UA, The Oxfords are not DC and I think don't they go for anywhere near £300. I'd say no more than half of that for mint.

Still, not a bad speaker for price.

I've seen the Oxfords T125's go for as little as £20 on fleabay, although occasionally a pair makes a fair bit more. I used to have a pair, they were OK actually, but not anywhere close to large DC's. I gave them to my sister who still uses them.
