Well im afraid you are dillusioned if you think that it true. Many fish are very much intensively farmed. take salmon for example, kept in giant baskets/cages in the highlands, at incredibly high stock rates. This is just one example.


furthermore, for me its more an issue of where the meat has come from. I think its important that the animal has been well looked after and led a good life and this then also means the meat will also be much tastier and do far more justice to the animal.


I had a delicous fresh haunch of venison the other day, which was given to me by a friend who went stalking. There are so many ways of getting good quality local meat, and it neednt always be expensive. The culling of dear for example means that vension is plentiful.
