Up for sale is my old MM/MC phono stage. The Dussun 3i was purchased on the recommendation of Richard at Vantage and replaced a Trichord Dino. I bought direct from 'China High End Hifi. I have all original packing but no manual. If I find it I'll forward it on. It's a 240v two box unit with the P/S in a separate case. DC power is supplied to the business end via a captive umbilical cord and Din plug. It's been used successfully with: EMT TU2 (MC) Denon DL304 (MC) Grado 1012GX and Rega Exact It has driven the line stages of a Cyrus ACA 7.5 Pre, a Prometheus TVC and an Accuphase E-212. It's a flexible little beast , loading adjustment is via an easy to read knob on the rear of the phono stage. Sound More even than the Dino and a fair bit more revealing to my ears. That said I thought it was quieter with less surface noise than the Trichord too. The build is much better. Why Selling? It isn't as good as my Anatek MC1 which incidentally has custom loading for my EMT TU2, so it has a bit of an advantage there. Faults No manual and the MM/MC light sometimes doesn't come on, although the selector switch is still fully functional (better built than trichord?). Price 200 GPB plus postage. Current retail is 525 Euros, which is about what I paid for it.
