Is it posible to rip DVD Audio discs ?
What is the file format (when I explore a disk I caanot identify which are audio tracks - it may be the ones showing with a file type of AOB).

If I can, will I be able to straem them via a Squeezebox that supports 24/96 data rates ?

    Thanks

I have used Cool Edit before in 'multi-track' mode to extract the audio portion only from DVD discs containing music video's and exclusive tracks to DVD format only (which really infuriates me).

But when I tried to adopt that technique to ripping a proper DVD-A disc, Bueno Vista Social Club, I wa snot able to do it and had to play the disc real time while recording with Cool Edit.

You can rip DVD soundtracks to a CD format easily - there's a lots of shareware programmes out there - just do a web search. Being a Mac owner my suggestions may not be any use but just do a search.
