    Hi there everyone

I have a pair of Dynaudio Audience 50's, boxed with manual (but no stands) for sale, before I stick them on ebay does anyone on here want them?

I'm not looking for a fortune as they are pretty old, does a hundred quid sound reasonable?

    I've got the grills too.

Hi, may well be interested. Couple of questions - what amp have you been using them with? I hear dyns like some grunt up them. Where are you based?

    Hi James

I used them with Marantz MA500 125W monos and Crimson 640C 200W monos.

I'd agree that they like a bit of grunt and perform best with solid state although I've never heard a valve amp with them so I may be talking bollocks. I haven't used them since August when I got my Revel M22 Performas.

I am based near York. I can't demo them as I don't have any kit with me here.

    Not sure mate

Where are you? I'll bring them down / up to you if you aren't too far away if you want to listen. If you've got an amp with decent current delivery then it maybe won't be a problem.

    Specs are:

    Sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m) 86 dB
IEC Long Term Power Handling 150 W
    Impedanz (nominal) 4 ohms
    Frequency Response 46 Hz - 27 kHz
    Weight 6.9 kg
    Dimensions (W x H x L) 204 x 330 x 256 mm

I'm over on the wirral, but my parents are in wetherby. They have no kit worth demoing on though...

The amp I'm tempted to use them with is a modified inca tech claymore - old 80s 50w jobbie that is no slouch. It's currently being used with some acoustic energy AE300s and only really gets used for tv duty. They're quoted as 87.5 db and 8 ohm.

Hi Scott - the fronts and backs look in excellent condition - can I assume the sides, tops, bottoms, grills are too?
