If I remember correctly "Snap-on" are a tool manufacturer for the automotive industry, supposed to carry a lifetime guarantee and are very expensive.

    Hi,
    Sucking eggs time maybe...
but I use the brackets feature cut down on multiple searches...
e.g. (rotel, mana, linn, naim, "musical fidelity", rega, DAC)
and the '-' feature to throw away the crud...
e.g. -(Kondek, "naim cable", "strap-on", crud)

leaving you with a generic 'hi-fi' search entered as such:
(rotel, mana, linn, naim, "musical fidelity", rega, DAC) -(Kondek, "naim cable", "strap-on", crud)
in category: Consumer Electronics: Audio - Separates & Systems

    Go experiment...

    Lord,
    I experimented.
I've been using E-Bay for about 3 years or so now and your search method is much better than mine. Mine worked and so i could never be arsed to change the way i did things, although it was a little time consuming, I think i might now though - cheers.

    Mostly correct,
They do carry a lifetime guarantee, however so do a lot of other tools these days. They are expensive and not always the best for every application, although overall and in general they are excellent. I'd rather have tools that won't let me down when i really need them though, rather than a guarantee of a replacement when it breaks. The tools are mostly geared towards the Motor industry but cover just about everything. I'm not in the motor industry. I've pretty much got every tool that i will ever need for my job, however i do like to keep my eye out for the odd bargain and shiney bauble.

    Twas my pleasure,
I have dealt with you (positively, naturally) on eBay before and you were a pleasure to sell to! No sarcasm or gloating, just respect.
Anonymity precludes me from divulging more ;~) (such a tease me!)

Consumer Electronics > Audio - Separates & Systems – 'new today'. I do this pretty much every night if I can, anything interesting gets stuck into my watch list, or occasionally I use 'buy it now'. Approx nine pages of new stuff each day.

Consumer Electronics > Collectables & Vintage – 'new today' as above. Normally two pages of new stuff to see per day.

Music > CDs, Records and Tapes > Records > 33 RPM/LPs – I tend to go bin diving quite often checking out what is closing over the upcoming hour or so just in case any bargains are to be had. I regularly search 'items available to UK' for any records I'm after, or ones I've just bought / am thinking of buying to sell on to get an idea of what they might close at.

    Tony.

Not so disciplined to actually keep favourites, but I often browse:

Consumer Electronics > Audio - Separates & Systems

Photography > Film Camera Lenses > To fit Canon

    Photography > Digital SLRs

    Photography > Accessories > Tripods & Supports
