No, but I have the pre-power and it's stunningly good. The fact it's pretty affordable makes it all the better value. Phono stage is ironically more expensive than the preamp, so I'd expect great things, though I am entirely satisfied with my Dynavector P75, so won't bother trying the EE.

i have read very good things about it, but never heard/tried it myself. i can vouch for the pre amp though. valso excellent build quality. i have been tempted by the phono stage, main problem for me is they shelf space it would take up. i think i will probably end up with a half width or smaller unit...

Am I right in thinking its £1k? If so, it has some serious transistor competition at the price (Diablo, Whest P20, TEAD uGroove).

you can get it for less than 1k... i think you can get it for about £800. to be honest, it probably sounds much better than a transistor stage. from what i've heard, with a little tweaking it was possible to get a WAD phono stage to sound better than most 1k transistor stages.

is it MC though? If not, you've got to add another £300 for a decent step-up trannie, which definitely puts it in four-figure territory. Ouch.
