As I've decided to go with a Wadia 861 (at a bargain price!), my Eastsound CD-E5 is up for grabs.

There is loads (inc. photos) about this on the 'net, particularly on the American forums. The below is where all searches end up (!):

This really is an astonishing CD player. Mine is just two months old and is a 240V UK version (I have the original invoice to prove its age and version) and the latest specification. It comes with all the original (substantial) packaging and the remote. It is in the same condition as when I bought it. I don't pick up the Wadia for a couple of weeks, so you're welcome to come & listen if you want to (I'm near Southampton). I can dispatch via a courier, but it's quite heavy so it'd be around £25 or so.

£395. Cash or cheque. No PayPal.

I listened to Simon's Eastsound CD-E5 and I was well impressed with its sound and build quality. The thick brushed aluminium fascia and casing really inspire confidence. From my short listening experience, the sound is excellent through the Harbeth monitors. At such price, it is no doubt a sonic bargain.

Simon is very friendly and his deal is always fair. I have bought a few items from him!
