Couple of things I would pick up on there Mr Cat, is 1 you have no picture of the Actual unit, and 2 don't you think the postage maybe a little steep? But it don't seem to be putting bidders off, so good luck.

Ikk, fundamental mistake not having a picture, and also putting links to other reviews, you should give a full and honest review of it yourself, people already know about these things, they are searching on ebay for it, it comes down to the picture and what you say about the item.

    Still good luck with it.

I'd expect insured postage for that rate.

It doesn't show up because you put 'for sale' at the beginning of the title

delete that, add a pic and drop the links, and just describe it fully, then look at the psotage cost (no offence)

Mr.Cat they are right, spend some time writing a good sales pitch. Its not just the item people buy, its the person who is selling it.

Although i wouldn't count myself as an expert my wife and i have over 300 100% positives between us using 3 accounts, for both selling and buyng, a few points worth noting.

A picture paints a thousand words.....

I now offer any buyer the oppurtunity to collect in person and pay cash on collection. This shows i am honest with nothing to hide.

I only ever charge the actual cost of posting an item, nothing puts me off an e-bay more than if i think i'm being ripped off for P&P especially as most folk (including me) use re-cycled packing material, or original shipping cartons which cost nothing. ( BTW I'm not accusing you, but £20 does seem a little steep, unless you are using special delivery ).
It's actually weird because if i really want something i will bid and pay well over the odds for it, but wouldn't even bother bidding if i thought the seller was taking me for a ride for a couple of quid extra on the P&P.

Writing something personal lets folk identify with you a little more as a human being, adding hyperlinks isn't a problem though imho.

Obviously you can sing the praises of your amp from a purely cosmetic, mechanical and electrical point of view. Be carefull about how you describe the sound as it can be very subjective, by all means let folk how brilliant you think it sounds , but make sure you add an, 'in your personal opinion' or two....

    good luck.

If you are unsure of the postage, its worth stating that its an approximate cost and that only the actual cost will be charged and the receipt provided. This gives confidence to the buyer that they are not being ripped off, and also covers you if it costs more. I agree with the others, a picture can increase the the sale price quite a bit.
