ebay query...

    hi, got a query here...

    I bought a laserpod from e-bay (30 quid plus cost of postage) - whenb I got it it was fine, but after about 10 hours oif use it broke down...I e-mail the seller but he wasn't interested

    I payed via paypal - what can I do to get a refund..? anything..?

    If the seller was a business, you should be able to use consumer legislation to suggest that the goods were not fit for purpose and get a refund. However, if the seller was a member of the public, then there is probably nothing that you can do. It is always a risk buying used goods as you have found to your cost. Just be thankfull that it was only £30.

    Contacting PayPal about a refund will prove as useful as drilling a hole in your head.

    I have contacted paypal - they're investingating this now...tho, I have got a refund from paypal before - but that was forma fake cd that never even arrived...sigh...

    shame tho, as it was a good lamp!!
