Haven't sold on eBay in a while and I notice some new 'My eBay' stuff.

In particular, you can see how many watchers are on an item you're selling.

What's considered a good number? Had about 7 in 4 hours or so.

    7 sounds okay.

I've had up to about 16 in the past for bike bits.

All you need is two, bidding against each other, after all.

Kind of like house auctions... The whole neighbourhood comes to watch but only one person bids... and they're the dummy bidder :D

I had 26 for my preamp but only 1 bid.
For the other auction there were 7 watchers but no bidders.

The best Ihave in the last 60 days is 356.
i have hadmore than 1k a few times though.

Always provide a gallery picture, If the iitem is common use BOLD aswell.

It may cost £1.5 extra upfront, but what do you think the odds of someone being interested when 70 people see it compared to 700?

I had about 45 on some Kef Eggs, always get good money on them, had lots on a Kimber power cord too,but I think being in Spain puts people off as my winners are always from Spain or Italy'even though listed in the UK.But I've found don't get too excited over watchers.
