emu 0404 question

If I have a emu 0404 connected to a amplifier, would there be another possibility to listen to pc speakers (so you would not need to turn the amp on with webcam for instance)? There is a audio connection in front of the pc via a audio header on the motherboard, but I guess it will not work with the onboard soundchip turned off?

you can use both built-in and pci soundcards simultaneously if you have half decent motherboard, just specify in player output which one you want, i have used 3 cards without any problems (built-in, usb and pci)
