FA my £25,000 Subwoofers

    The crossover is a stereo active variable low pass filter that is placed after the preamp. The power amp(s) are direct connected to the speakers (i.e. true active) with nothing in between. In an AV system, the crossover would not be required, as the filtering is performed by the surround processor.

    I hadn't quite grasped until a minute ago that it's 4 "boxes" in total :eek: I thought it was just the 2 boxes on top of each other. That's a lot of bass :D

    Would you be prepared to deliver to a London address (as I would dread to think of the courier cost and my car is no way big enough!)

    I am happy to deliver them as long as the buyer pays the cost. The best way would be to hire a small van which should cost £70 inc petrol for a London delivery. I would need the buyers help, as they are too heavy to carry by myself.

    hi david, was wondering if you were still in touch with the guy you sold these to?

    i'm having a crisis of confidence in my roof-mounted infinite baffle project and fancy a simpler solution, perhaps he would consider selling them?

    hope things are good down under?
