    My Krell LAT-1 tweeters blew and guess how much they cost new?? 48.00.
    A 40,000 dollar speaker with 48 dollar tweeters. WOW

    Well, the raw ingredients for a cake are cheap (relatively) but it is what you do with them that counts. Having said that, with gear of that market value, you would expect the very best of everything, wouldn't you?

    The easiest way to blow tweeters is of course by clipping the amp.
    Fixing that might be a tad more expensive for people prone to buying such ta^^^^ having such expensive tastes...
