    not meaning to be controversial, genuine enquiry....can you have both...prat and depth.

    FYI, I think FE fans are a little like myself in respect that I now love triodes with zero fb so much that you can't listen to anything else.

    So it is with pratty stuff, once you hear it, its so different that nothing else will do, so I do appreciate their dogma.

    I personally think i have both but Bubs gonna pop over in a coupla weeks so we will see what his opinion is, although hes prolly deaf, along with his neighbours and half the west end of glasgow:D , and I thought I liked it loud.

    Yes, you can definately have both imo. I think that I have to a pretty good extent, although the room does have some effects which don't help, and I can identify areas of improvement.

    As bub said over on PFM, the terms FE and RE refer to systems that are flawed, but in different ways.
