With regards to 'Aggressive Speaker Placement', I was referring to pushing them closer to the walls, in a configuration that was not possible with the Rotel. As AK mentioned, the increased control of the cones gives you license to move your speakers around as they don't excite the room as much.

With regards to the qualities of the S2150, Merlin pretty much hit it on the head: Very clean and clear; with no real signature at all. So it's shit in - shit out . A good pre and source are essential in my book.
