FWIW I really think you want a Bel Canto, and that you ought to return the TacT after your three week trial, save up for a little if necessary, and splash out on the B/C. The only way to be happy in the long run is to get what you really want in the first place, as I decided when looking to spend £350ish on an amp (ended up with the S300 :shame: ).
