Yay! One down, one to go I'm now the proud owner of a new pair of speakers, hopefully I should like them.

I paid £51 for a pair of Mordaunt Short MS10i Pearl's (thanx Rory). Nice and cheap, and they seem to get some good reviews :)

Just need to get an amp for them now, but I have my eye on an amp I've always been tempted by.

Now, I 'm going to need some stands for them. Which type of stands do you think will be the best / most appropriate? Open frame ones, or big thick ones like Atacamas?

Any specifically you can recommend to me? Cheaper the better, BTW :D

I have MS20's on Kan 2 stands. Sound amazing. On anything else they sound a bit slow and flabby in the bass. Would imagine the 10's to work similarly.....

    Cheers

Hoorah for Quadraspire acrylic! Nothing else will do for me now, I have them in my bedroom and in my main system.

I'm sure they're nice, but £150 is way more than i wanted to pay.

I used some MS20i speakers on top of some slightly taller versions of these Target stands for two years, and they worked very well:

I have no connection with the seller, by the way.

My ones were (are) about 60cm tall and spiked at the bottom, blu-tac at the top. It's a shame that you're such a long way away (I'm in Suffolk) as you could have them for the price of a couple of beers - they are just taking up cupboard space at the moment but are too tricky for me to be bothered to post.
