EAC or Exact Audio Copy is highly reccomended.

cheers, trying EAC first.

Can't work out though - if you've got files already on your pc (not on a cd)...and you want to load them into the software and change them...for example from FLAC to WAV..

how do you do that?!!

It only seems to want to load from a CD?

Try DBpoweramp to convert from one to another

 

I'd second CDex. Seems a bit easier to set up then EAC.
