OK, Im sick of having 10p pieces under the spkr spikes.

Can anyone recommend any floor protectors (I have a wood laminate floor - no carpet).

Ive seen some efforts on ebay - but they all look a bit shite.

    ta in advance //lamboy

Atacama spikeshoes, £25 for 8? I've got some here, never used on a wooden floor though so I can't give any comments on how (if at all) they affect the sound :(

What's wrong with pennies? Dip them in Coke or Ketchup to clean them and they look quite attractive. Plus they only cost 8 pence for 8 :)

I think I need the special audiophile pennies, hopefully I can find some blessed by the queen mother and cuddled by Orville (the duck) - trouble is these would cost me at least 20p each! Sod that:)

I think I'll coat the ones I have in green (olive green mind) felt tip pen and mount them on a glass shelf (you know the one) - then all I have to do is wait for my jaw to drop.

    Ok, I'll shut up now.

    Lamboy,

The FE Cerapucs X 8 were 500 Euros (about £340) including shipping from Johan Grissen (The High-End broker) here:-

    http://www.highend-broker.com/images/index1.htm

I bought a set of 4 X Cerabase feet from him for my equipment rack and was very impressed, so went back to him for the Cerapucs. Expensive, but oh, the quality of the engineering!

check the web for Goldring Perfect sound discs. 8 for 12 quid a black steel disc with a dimple on top for a spike and neoprene base to stop slippage.

    Enjoy.

    Hi Andy,

They look very cool, I like the idea of some bespoke floor protectors. What is the white rubber?

I will PM you my details and lets sort out a deal.
