forum pics v links

    Can some one enlighten me as to how you get a picture up on a forum rather than just a link?

    I've done it a few times, but it wouldn't work for me at all just now!

    When replying, click on the icon that looks like a postcard and you should be prompted to put in a full URL, which should end in .jpg. Click on OK and that should be enough.

    Edit: Just to add that if clicked on "Post Quick Reply" button rather than "post reply", you'll need to switch to "Go Advanced" before you see the "post card".

    Ah, now I know what I've done wrong in the past; I previously copied the url from the address bar in the browser when I wanted to insert a pic on photobucket, whereas what I need to do is copy the 'direct link' for the image as displayed below the thumbnail on photobucket...dur...
