    Anyone else having problems?

    Unable to resolve host or something for ages. Happened when I first tired gettin on earlier, and again just now.

    Times out while trying to find the site.

    Yep, you've beaten me to putting up a post about it. I've not be able to get on the forum for most of the afternoon. I thought it might just be because Pipex have been having some connectivity problems, but maybe it's not that.

    It was out for me from about the afternoon onwards and has only just come back. The problem was (as you've read on the HFC thread probably) that some hackers did a distributed denial of service attack on the 2 nameservers that manage the DNS zone for this domain.

    Checking with "nslookup" on those nameservers (ns8.zoneedit.com and ns18.zoneedit.com) it looks like they're still not responding but ZoneEdit were kind enough to allow me to configure a 3rd (unaffected) nameserver for this domain for free which is probably what's letting people back in again. It takes about 24-48 hrs for new nameserver info to distribute around the net.

    Sorry about the outage - not really anything I could have done about it allthough now that the domain has 3 nameservers it's very unlikely the same problem will occur again.
