Tape deck - one of those nifty horizontal drawer types. In excellent operational condition. Cosmetics are good. Fascia decent. some marks on the top though. I think these were relatively expensive when new - not sure - it works very well though.

    Free if you collect it

i had someone who wanted this but it subsequently didn't happen.

Hence still available. Anyone passing through can have it. Just 'cos its free doesn't mean its shabby. It works very well.

I had another guy interested in it, but i deleted his PM and can't remember who it was. So let me know again if you still want it.

    thanks

O this is awful -'twas me. Fact is that I've upgraded massively on the CD side over the past 18 months, and have some collateral +'s and -'s:

I no longer have a tuner - I previously had a Yamaha receiver (now in dining room making other half happy). Nor do I have a cassette deck (another Yammy, same place same reason).
    and
I have a surplus of Meridian kit (200/203 & 602/606) which no one is rushing for but is serving as deposit while I home demo speakers.

    I'll do that streetmap.co.uk for Langley ...

    :D :D

If no one expresses an interest in this over the next few days, then you can have that as well :)

If someone wants it though, it might be kinder to spread the wealth and let them have it. Otherwise its yours.

I remember somone asking, but i deleted the PM. Didn't realise it was you :D

I agree, I'm not going into the s/h business. I seem to have been overcome by feverish jumblesalitis ....

I need some fresh air ...

My present thoughts are that I should give you money for the Denon if this would allow me to play my cassette collection thru my 'front room' system- gathered while children were small during that pre-CD era and I could not contemplate buying vinyl only to have it scratched.

I really dont want the Akai but would have the Hitachi if no one else wants it - I could find it a home witn daughter or dive buddy as stated.

as to tuners ... I need that fresh air. I know, I'll go and visit that show that sells aerials ...

the free tuner is not the 'bees knees'. The luxman is worthy of its place in a main system. So i wouldn't want anyone to travel just to pick up the free one, as it is not worth much. But if you happen to be collecting something else than you migt as well have it.

ok, just to clarify.(i've had a fag now) you are having the Cable Talk, Eupen and Denon. £45 IIRC

we'll sort arrangements later via PM.

That means i have an Akai and Hitachi tape deck still available. and an old (not worth much) but clean tuner, still available. I will just give these to whoever passes through my house, if no one claims them.

    cheers

Agreed. I've found Langley with that URL - thanks. And I agree we'll sort things later.
