    the people at the bottom do different things. i.e. the girl with glasses stops you immediately. if the word 'special' appears with a rapid beeping sound hit the mouse button and you get a special move which gives you a massive boost. the key to getting high numbers is these specials.
    when the character is a certain height above the ground the word arial lights up blue or read. if it's blue you can press the mouse button and give the character a downward boost. if red an upward one. the up boosts are recharged by hitting a particular character. the blue by being within the areal zone.
