I've been without my Krell for the past few months and it has now returned following a rebuild/service. Whilst it was away I have been using a Classe Power amp and it has been a fantastic substitute driving sonus faber extremas with no problem would you believe. Nice and open, very detailed and reminded me of an audio synthesis Desire Decade - in terms of sound and quality, better than a TACT/Lyngdorf which I also considered as a temporary no-krell option. I thought about keeping it but we don't have too much space and it would be a waste to just store it so it's on offer. It's an old model but in excellent condition - superb build, a solid state Classe 10 - 100 watts into 8 ohm, 200 into 4. Now on e bay and has to be a snip, there was one on a german dealers site for 1500 euros recently. Cosmetically it has been refurbished by myself - cover resprayed, a couple of tiny dings but looks very good indeed with handles. Can be used balanced or single ended and has a feature to bridge to mono at flick of an internal switch so may have home cinema potential. PM if any interest, its fantastic value and not easy to find - Classe is rather pricey kit so here's a bargain.
