    Black with gold knobs.In excellent condition with box and manual.It's a Mk 2 or 3 so has the all surface mount PCB.

    I'd buy it ... if I didn't already have one :) I wonder if Densen will supply the silver knobs if asked nicely. Always thought the gold ones were a bit bling. Still, I guess a lot of folks like that.

    Gold is much smarter :cool: . Would be most distressed if someone swapped the gold knob on my pre-amp for a tacky silver one!

    Build date is July 1997.The original version used a different PCB design with standard components,the later one uses surface mount jobbies so making the signal path shorter.

    I've not heard the early one,but a couple of reviews i've read in the past said the MK2 was much better.
