a 1m pair of DPA Black Slink IC's.

Locking WBT both ends, source end has flying earth lead to connect to chassis earth.

Nice clean sound, and articulate. Very good between pre and power aswell as source.

Reason for sale - funding upgrades.

Asking price £80 including P&P inside UK.

    Pictures on request
    :)

I'll take a punt on these - I used to have some years back and liked them, will be interesting to see how they do with my current 'cable sensitive' kit! Do you take PayPal?

It sounds like you have a PP 'buyers' rather than 'sellers' A/C. No worries - I can just as easy send you a cheque. Just PM me your details and I'll bang it in the mail tomorrow.

    Tony.

PS I assume the Deltec leads are in good nick / non-modded etc.

    Hi Tony
    A cheque is fine.
I bought them second hand from a guy who worked for audio excellence, so i assume they are unmodded.
Would you like a picture first before finalising? I could do that tomorrow after work.

    Cheers
    Andy

Don't worry, I'm sure they will be fine, they have the correct WBT plugs and that is pretty much all you can change with a cable!

Do you know which way round they are meant to run? I could never work it out! I tended to use them as an interconnect with the earth tab end connected at the amp.

My current plan is to use them between the phono-stage and amp, moving the Linn Analogue onto CD duties and eBaying the Chord Chrysalis that is currently on the CD to offset some of the cost!

If you remember the original, these have twisted blue wire from one end going to a single spade connector, hope that sounds right?

I never worked it out either, popular opinion was that the earth lead should attach to source, cant say i noticed much change either way.

I will PM my address :)

Yes, that's what I remember: a thickish rubbery feeling black cable with a green multi-PTFE cased earth wire joining both lengths together at one end from the WBT locking plugs with a earth spade .

I bought my original length from a friend who had a full deltec system and I really liked it until I descovered Naim Aro arm lead, which works stunningly well in a Naim system - marginally better than the Black Slink, and at a fraction of the price, so I sold the Slink. I'm now not using Naim kit, and my amp hated the Aro, so my hunch is the Slink will work rather well... but I sold it, so I'm buying yours to find out!
