I've had this in a cupboard since I bought the Manley, I've been rather attached to it, but it's wasted so here it goes. This is my Ming-Da MC34A valve amp, it's the one in the picture below. It's the only gold one I know of, it looks very smart in the flesh. It's been tweaked by Audiolabs of Leeds, and has nice new glass in it. Golden Dragon EL34's which are new manufactured GEC's and NOS Mullards or Brimars in the pre-amp valves, with Cryo'd Mazda's acting as a phase splitter. They aren't your cheap Russian/Chinese copies! The amp has no tape loop, but it does have pre-outs. It has four inputs and both 4ohm and 8ohm speaker taps. It'll drive most things. Worked a dream with my Meadowlarks, sounded great with some big horns, and was absolutely fine with Tony's Harbeths when it sounded better than his old Densen with everything bar some real heavy techno. I'd like £350. The amp is mint and boxed even with it's own white gloves I think! For the money it's hard to think of anything better Here's a pic: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/lordsuumit/Ming-da.jpg
