Arguably one of Musical Fidelity's better products, excellent condition with original packaging, asking for £550 plus delivery OVNO.

    Can email pictures on request.

Are these the long tubular ones and if so have you had them since new.

I live in Wolves - what is the weight and expected postage costs?

Just looked at your kit - you planning on selling the X-A2 ;)

Yes, they are the long tubular ones. I bought them s/h from a dealer. The X/A2 I've had from new and is also for sale for £275. I don't know the weight but expect the postage to be around £50 for all three boxes. Actually for £50 I can deliver them to Wolves:).

Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to mull it over as the total cost is a bit more than I want to spend. The XA2 is really tempting as I used to own one (now have Xpre V3 and Xp200 but want the XA2 for another system) and keep an eye on ebay for one (prices go from £200 to £300).

I may well be in touch and thanks!

Dev - I sold a pair of these on ebay in October without boxes and got £780 for them :D - unbelievable.
Theres a pair on at the moment which are already at £380 with about a week to go, I bet they make at least £650 - I'm tempted to buy yours just to resell them on ebay, but thats not really the spirit of the forum

So, you were that lucky so and so. Lee told me about them but I didn't know it was someone from here.

Thanks for your reply, I was beginning to think they'll be hard to sell. The best offer I've had so far is £500. I don't really want to put them on eBay, would rather sell them to someone here. Perhaps I should have asked for £600. I can't really revise the price upwards now:(, can I?, that's just not the done thing, so they are yours for £550, even if you only want to sell them on.

Have I missed the X-P200 as I am still interested at the asking price - could we go halves on the postage?

Dont want to upset anyone on the forum so understand if someone else has beat me to them.

Thanks, just when I convinced myself I haven't made a mistake selling them (at any price). I'm sure GSRAI will appreciate them even more. To be fair, he has said that he doesn't want to take advantage and if I change my mind he'll understand. However, I feel we had an agreement and that should stand.

BTW if you know anyone who wants a Sony STR-DB790 you'll know where to direct them to:D. I wonder what these go for?

Thanks DEV I was a bit disappointed by Uncles post as I think it is unfair to try and upset someones deal. An idea when you might be coming over?

I just want to clear up any misunderstanding.

I was never trying to upset any deal that had been agreed on these items. In fact if you look at the thread you'll see I told Dev that he would get that sort of money for them on ebay well before he had a buyer. I could have bought them myself and resold them on ebay and made a quick £100 but didn't feel that was in the spirit of the zerogain forum.

My message telling Dev how much the pair went for on ebay was several days after he had posted a sold notice - I never for a minute thought Dev would back track on any deal - and from his reply he clearly felt the same. I was just winding Dev up in the nicest possible way - sorry if it was misconstrued.

Thanks for clearing that up. I tend to base things on trust and i have no reason to complain but when you've sent your money and there is a chance that the seller may change his mind it makes you worry a little (yes the power amps were a good price but its still a lot of money) - can't wait to get them now!

I still think uncle should feel obliged to buy my Sony at the full asking price as a punishment;).

Dev, its just a thought but I reckon you've got more chance of selling your Sony on AVForum as that is probably more AV orientated - any idea if the weekend is on?
