I have a pair of Celestion SL700se speakers, on there original stand plus all the bits and fiddly peices, inc box and manuel, jumpers, output traces etc.

They sound fantastic [for small stand mounts] deep fast bass, lush mids and super highs. For me they are too insensetive at about 82dbish for the T-amps. Hence the need for a powerful ampto drive these speakers.

The condition is very good, though there is a little flaking of the nextel finish on the stands, and a small ammount of wear on the front corners of the speakers. But what do you expect for 15year old speakers. I did describe them as chatty when first scene but this was down to the poor level of cleaning. Once dusted and greasy fingure prints were removed along with felt tip marks ! there true condition was revealed.

As to price well there are not many on the internet [I've found] so I open to sensible offers ............

    Audiogon.....there is a pair for $950 [520GBP ish]..............

    read a review...its pretty accurate

Payment well I take cheque[will need to clear first], cash on collection ..paypal [plus 3% to cover there rob dog charges]

postage will of course be on top....collection might be best as the stands are heavy and could rack up high postage.

I have a definite lust for these, but having just bought some Meridian DSP's (yesterday) I'll have to pass. The original SL600 was definitely speaker porn. Best of luck in selling them, though I reckon eBay will be your best bet, (a pair of SL6S's are on there at present, looking like they will fetch good money).

    hope this helps,
I sold some SL6's on ebay, it turned out the best market was Germany/Austria, all of the bids came from there,
seems Celestions have a cult following in these countries,
