An opportunity has come up and I have bought the big daddy 100w Tube Technology Genesis monoblocs for a very reasonable price. So the time to sell the Unisis has come: my thinking that the monos should be a natural upgrade ( I hope so anyway!!)

It has been recently serviced by Aston electronics near to Stafford with receipt to prove works. All dry joints re-soldered and all components checked and has had a full set of JJ tesla valves from top to bottom & a couple of new valve seats – all re-baised by Aston and handed to me shiny and serviced.

The last price on the unisis with a phono stage was approx 3k.

35w per channel and has only ever struggled with one pair of speakers I have treed them with and they were 4 ohm and 83dB!! It did however have no problem with a a pair of 8ohm 83dB Royd RR1's but is much happier with 87dB upwards and it will reward with a fairly grunty yet sweet & airy sound. They are currently driving TonyL old Harbeths with ease.

Basically a very good British integrated valve amplifier that sounds superb, looks stunning and feels like a well put together piece of kit.

I also have a Tube Technology Fusion power lead that was an £150 extra. I am prepared to sell the amp either with or without the cable at the the prices shown below.

A quick pic, I will take better ones later:

Price for amp alone is: £750
Price for amp and Fusion Lead: £800

Would also consider a simple pre in px to go with my new monos.

I have the original box and packing – the box is worse for wear after being stored in a cellar but the packaging is fine and the box is a pretty standard size so it will be easy to box up. The Tube Technology power cord is boxed separately in its original packaging.

I will take more detailed photos later.
