no, blu-tac isolating the armboard spacers from the armboard and the mickey-mouse ears.

it wouldn't be worth me going standalone as one upgrade and then doing the DC later though, and I doubt if michell would do it anyway. so I'd be unlikely to hear exactly what difference the DC motor makes in its own right, surely?

go on, show me your turntable porn ;)

Sounds really good on a decent deck.

The Michell turntables are highly overrated IMO.

Why on earth is it necessary to post several posts consecutively? Use one!

getting back on the discussion. I've never had a xerxes but a friend of mine did, and I liked the sound of the shiraz when I heard it. I never liked the look of the xerxes, thought it was a bit 'boring' so I went for the gyro as my first real deck.

I'm thinking about a change for my next cartridge though, but might have to go down a rung or two for the next couple of years. maybe a Goldring Eroica again or if I can stretch a Lyra Dorian.

Somehow with your quick posting abilities and lack of problem with any of the features such as quoting, I'm not so sure you are new to it. You've also decided to completely ignore my post and continue posting consecutive posts.
