    Brush the cat regular ;)
Might be worth a trip to the vet just to get her checked out.

The constant Hobbesian philosophy would certainly be a bind.

Get the vet to check her out but cats coughing furballs is normal. Our Burmese does it every so often and it does appear to be very violent (I was quite worried the first time) but it is normal.

You can get proper food (Iams, Royal Canin etc) that has what they call "hairball transit system" but it's supposed to help furballs pass through the intestine rather than being coughed up. We use Royal Canin "Indoor" for both our cats.

we use Iams, cats seem to like it, dont seem to get furballs.
I assume that is because any spare fur they have is deposited on opur bed and clothes.

    thanks guys,
im feeding her felix pouches so im going to try a different brand, one of the ones mentioned above. i think shes getting bored of felix now anyways.i try and give her a tin of tuna or sardines at least once a week and she gets really pissed of at me when i give her felix afterwards. i have been slack at the old grooming latley though so a good brush is in order i recon.

    cheers,

    Rob

Shouldnt realy give a cat to much fresh fish, it isnt good for the skin, according to our vet.

good tip for when to change brands of cat food - start with a mixture of about 50/50 with the new stuff then go completely to the new brand...they tend not to like the direct transistion!! just what a vet said thats all..
