I aquired some Furatech Fuses (the Rhodium Plated ones) silly money if you have to buy them but (and I can't believe i'm saying this) there was a considerable improvement on my system. Putting the things in the other way around (for some bizarre reason known only to the god of Hi Fi Tweeks) reversed the effect, things became compressed and mushy sounding.
I've heard bigger differences but if the Chinese ones work as well then I'd say they are worth having a play with.

The only thing better than polishing your own is getting someone else to polish it for you :D

I use the Xindak Fuses in my Pure Silver Mains Cables and find them extremely good compared to standard fuses.

You can buy these from http://www.cattylink.com/

    SILVER FUSE 2A US$3-
    SILVER FUSE 6A US$3.50

Snowy White the guy at Cattylink provides excellent customer service and replies to emails in minutes.

I recently imported a Dussun D9 from him which is proving to be the bargain of a lifetime!

This is the OEM version of the Mark Levinson (Red Rose Music M1 Amp) which costs $6K. I paid a total of €800 inc shipping and duty!
