House mate has the album and its pretty good. Not brilliant but I think its a pretty talented act they've put together there (I mean Skee Lo(SP?) and Dangermouse by the way, not a record company). The live performance on TOTP was pretty good I thought and they were on Later the other day but I missed it. Crazy really is a great tune though...not actually tired of hearing it yet.

I saw the live performance of Crazy on the recent Radio 1 festival in Scotland and thought it was very weak, in fact what crossed my mind was just another 'studio' act only.

Then a friend of mine said I 'had' to check out the album, it was brilliant, much better than the Gorillaz.

Listened to the album and that just confirmed my initial impressions when seeing him live. Not my thing at all. Thought the album was not very clever, quite juvenile and flat.

    Each to their own though...

I'm not normally into Hip-hop stuff but I think Dangermouse is quite an interesting character - he doesn't do 'tracks', preferring to do whole albums and really work through an idea and see where it goes. His 'Grey Album' is worth trying to get (bootleg download only - lawsuits from the Beatles' publishers). He dubbed a complete vocal only performance of Jay-Z's 'The Black Album' onto a backing track cut - up from the Beatles 'White' Album. In a way it's genius. Ringo as breakbeats ?
